Ensembles

Stolen by Gypsies - A trio which performs music from Paris (Chanson, '50s and '60s standards , recent singer-songwriters,  manouche), bossa nova, Quebecois traditional, and original pieces on accordion, voices, guitar, standup bass, violin and mandolin. Samantha (accordeon, voice and guitar) collaborates with seasoned musicians Mike Gareau(violin, mandolin) and Dave Clark (bass, guitar, voice)to create a romantic sound evocative of youthful dreams and the Paris that is in each person's imagination: "Gypsies" is part jazz, part ambiance music, part folk-- its members will transport you to that bistro table on the sidewalk with the espresso waiting.

Tympanon - A cross-border trio: Quebecois Jean-Pierre Leduc and Mireille Girard combine forces with Sam to perform traditional music from Quebec, Vermont, France, and points beyond, as well as singersongwriter pieces from Quebec and old ballads redone bilingually.  Known for their spirited and humor-infused concerts, Tympanon gets toes-tappin' and people singing and dancing to the notes of Jean-Pierre's high-energy fiddling and sensitive guitar work,  Sam's hammered dulcimer, accordeon, percussion and voice, and Mireille's ballad singing

Hawk Mountain - Samantha and Mike Gareau form a duo which doubles the strength of both of their long solo careers: Appalachian hoe-downs, Celtic reels, Quebecois quadrilles and close-harmony singing filled with longing and stories will entertain you as they pull out the mandolin, fiddle, hammered dulcimer, and add a dollop of accordion, bodhran and guitar.  The music tells stories, and the musicians clearly enjoy the telling

Colannon - Samantha and Patrica Stebbins are old musical friends, who love to play Celtic duets together, using the hammered dulcimer, guitar and accordion with the full-sized, Scottish harp.  Spiritied singing, a warm repartee and soothing lullabyes join fiery jigs and reels for a evocative performance.
